A Concurrency, Inc. Case Study
The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), a religious non-profit, needed to upgrade its aging Microsoft communications platforms to improve business continuity and enable more robust collaboration for its users. They engaged Concurrency, Inc. to help strategically implement upgrades to Microsoft Exchange and Lync.
Concurrency deployed Exchange 2010 in a co-location data center with a secondary onsite server for replication, significantly reducing continuity risk and implementing archiving to ease storage pressures. They also upgraded the organization from Office Communications Server to Lync Server, enabling organization-wide instant messaging, presence, and voice/video communication. The vendor's solution provided simplified and faster communication for WELS personnel, who regard Concurrency as an invaluable asset and a member of their team.
