Migration of On-Premises File Shares to SharePoint Online for National Building Products Company

National Building Products Company, a Midwest-based building products company with a national footprint, needed a better way to manage departmental file shares that were sitting on local servers. Working with Concurrency, Inc., the company looked to move toward a more secure, searchable cloud environment while minimizing disruption for users who were accustomed to local file shares.

Concurrency, Inc. designed a migration model, built a SharePoint Online user interface, and used Sharegate to support the transfer of files from on-premises shares to the cloud.
