A Concurrency, Inc. Case Study

Preview of the Oshkosh Area School District Case Study

Managing School District Computers from a Central Location

Oshkosh Area School District, a public school district serving more than 10,000 students across multiple facilities, needed a more efficient way to centrally manage servers and workstations. To avoid repetitive manual IT work and stay within budget, the district partnered with Concurrency, Inc. to plan and implement a Microsoft-based management solution.

Concurrency, Inc. upgraded OASD from System Center 2007 to a fresh System Center 2012 Configuration Manager environment, adding centralized capabilities for inventory, software deployment, updates, configuration management, antivirus, and reporting. The new solution improved efficiency, reduced overhead for IT staff, and gave the district better visibility and control over devices across its sites.
