Hyatt Hotels Corporation preserves 78,000 pages with Concurrency, Inc.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a global hospitality leader, faced a long-standing challenge in its legal department: preserving an estimated half-million pages of vital records. After six years of delays, the company engaged vendor Concurrency, Inc. to plan and implement a digital preservation solution.

Concurrency implemented a solution using PsiGen Capture 5 software hosted on Microsoft Azure, integrated with a Fujitsu scanner and the company's SharePoint 2013 site. This flexible, cloud-based approach allowed for swift setup and remote access. As a result, Hyatt successfully scanned over 13,000 documents (78,000 pages), finally meeting its records management goals and generating interest from other departments within the organization.
