Hyatt Corporation’s Legal Department Preserves Vital Records

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a global hospitality leader based in Chicago, needed to preserve vital legal records that had been postponed for more than six years. Hyatt partnered with Concurrency, Inc. to address the challenge, using scanning and records management tools to digitize a large archive of documents.

Concurrency, Inc. implemented a solution that scanned documents directly into the Drop-Off Library of Hyatt’s SharePoint 2013 Office 365 Dedicated site, using a Fujitsu scanner, PsiGen Capture 5 software, and Azure-hosted licensing for flexibility. The project has already digitized more than 13,000 documents, or 78,000 pages, helping Hyatt’s legal department meet its vital records management goals while creating interest in the solution across other Hyatt teams.
