MacLean-Fogg Company, a global manufacturing enterprise with 3,300 employees and 20 North American and 10 international facilities, wanted to move beyond constant IT “fire fighting” and create a more formal, strategic approach to infrastructure and service delivery. After Microsoft demonstrated System Center, MacLean-Fogg chose Concurrency, Inc. as a strategic partner and began with a Core IO (Core Infrastructure Optimization) engagement to assess its current IT maturity and future-state needs.

Concurrency, Inc. conducted an objective Core IO assessment of MacLean-Fogg’s environment, evaluating services across the Basic, Standardized, Rationalized, and Dynamic spectrum and building a roadmap for reaching “Dynamic” IT. The engagement delivered clearer priorities for System Center and other enabling technologies, helped the team understand how to standardize and improve processes, and gave MacLean-Fogg a practical plan to become a more proactive, trusted business partner to the organization.
