Concurrency Develops Custom-Branded SharePoint Blog to Boost Knowledge Transfer at Industrial Supplier

IEWC, a global industrial supplier with 16 distribution centers, wanted a better way for its sales and marketing teams to share customer insights, success stories, photos, and lessons learned across a widely dispersed organization. To support internal knowledge transfer, reduce email traffic, and improve customer service, IEWC turned to Concurrency, Inc. for a custom internal SharePoint blog solution that would be intuitive and easy for employees to use.

Concurrency, Inc. designed and implemented a custom-branded SharePoint blog using XSL, CSS, JavaScript, and additional custom code to tailor the site to IEWC’s needs. The solution included features such as ghost-written posts for sales reps and automatic author photos, and it was rolled out in collaboration with IEWC’s IT team. The result was a more engaging internal communication platform that helped streamline information sharing, save time, and support better customer service and revenue growth.
