Alverno College Overhauls IT System Management, Gains Greater Operational Efficiency and Productivity

Alverno College, a private independent college in Milwaukee, needed greater operational efficiency in managing its campus computers and servers, especially to reduce the time spent on maintenance. Concurrency, Inc. worked with Alverno’s Technology Services team to document goals and design a more integrated approach using Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager.

Concurrency, Inc. implemented a comprehensive workstation and server management environment that centralized inventory, assessment, deployment, configuration, and update management. The solution enabled automation, improved visibility into software installations to help reduce licensing costs, and integrated endpoint protection and operating system deployment; Concurrency, Inc. also provided training and custom documentation so Alverno could maintain the system effectively going forward.
