The customer, a U.S. based multi-national industrial company, faced the challenge of upgrading tens of thousands of employee devices from Windows 7 and 8.1 to Windows 10 without losing data or applications. They engaged Concurrency to assist with this large-scale Windows 10 readiness and deployment project, which was planned as an in-place upgrade.

Concurrency's solution involved reviewing and updating Active Directory policies, preparing the System Center Configuration Manager system, and ensuring third-party application readiness. This work allowed the client to successfully complete a pilot program, upgrading 1,500 devices with no data loss or catastrophic failures. Concurrency's guidance paved the way for a global four-year hardware refresh plan to Windows 10.
