How One City is Saving Taxpayer Dollars With CLM

The City of Kenner, a Louisiana municipality of about 70,000 residents, faced an inefficient, paper-based contract process that required printing and signing multiple copies and moved slowly between offices. The legal team had little visibility into contract status, which created delays, lost paperwork, and extra administrative work that drained time and taxpayer resources.

In 2017 Kenner implemented Concord’s cloud-based contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, giving 15–20 departments a shared, secure repository with audit trails, reporting and vendor access. The city digitized about 90% of contracts, improved tracking and transparency, reduced follow-up calls and lost documents, and increased vendor satisfaction—delivering faster service and measurable savings for taxpayers.
