Conceptboard in Action – City of Cologne Increases Licenses

The City of Cologne wanted to test whether Conceptboard’s online whiteboard could serve as a secure, data protection-compliant alternative for municipal use. Like many public-sector organizations, the city faced strict requirements around GDPR compliance, secure hosting, and user acceptance when introducing new collaboration tools.

Conceptboard supported a one-year pilot project using its cloud solution hosted in Germany, with migration of boards and accounts to a dedicated server. The rollout went smoothly, leading the city’s IT department to quadruple the number of licenses, with plans to expand further and integrate Conceptboard with additional products to improve collaboration.
