Front Porch Ice Cream doubles sales next year with Concentric

Front Porch Ice Cream, a regional creamery formerly known as Mooresville Ice Cream, faced the challenge of a weak retail presence with distribution in only 42 stores. Their new ownership had an ambitious goal to double sales by capturing higher margins in the competitive retail ice cream category. They engaged Concentric to help them grow their market share against large legacy brands.

Concentric conducted research to develop a strategy, rebranding the product as Front Porch Carolina Churned Ice Cream with a regionally authentic story and new flavors. This approach allowed the company to occupy a white space in the market for local, crafted ice cream. The results were impressive, enabling the small batch creamery to successfully grow its share in the super-premium pint category.
