Edgerton Hospital reduces cost and carbon footprint with Computershare BoardWorks

Edgerton Hospital, a healthcare provider serving its Wisconsin community since 1920 across three locations, was looking for a better way to support its board of directors. The hospital needed to reduce the large amount of paper used for monthly board meetings and cut the significant costs of producing board books for 12 members each time.

Computershare Governance Services implemented its BoardWorks board portal to replace paper-based board materials with a user-friendly, secure digital solution. The result was eliminated printing costs for roughly 50-page board books used 10 times per year, improved document security, reduced paper consumption and the hospital’s carbon footprint, and made it easier for board members to access historical information in one place.
