Merlin Entertainments, the largest European entertainment company operating 110 attractions across 23 countries, faced onerous board management processes — printing and binding hundreds of documents, paying couriers, and relying on insecure external hard drives that made electronic access difficult for globally distributed board members. Computershare Governance Services implemented a customized BoardWorks solution including agenda uploads, e-signatures, voting and survey modules, and secure mobile access, changing how Merlin shares confidential materials and engages its board. The portal increased corporate secretaries’ control, delivered Boardpacks to directors earlier than before, optimized directors’ and administrators’ time, improved productivity, and enabled faster, more secure decision-making across Merlin’s global operations.
