Nicole Miller unifies 22 boutiques with ComputerCare

The customer, Nicole Miller, a leading design firm with both an apparel production division and a chain of retail boutiques, faced a major operational challenge. Their two business units operated on separate systems using different product codes, forcing the retail division to manually re-ticket and enter all inventory received from the apparel side. This process was a significant waste of time and a source of potential errors. The apparel division was already a long-time user of ComputerCare's CAMS™ software.

ComputerCare solved the problem by converting the retail system to use UPC codes and integrating it directly with the CAMS™ platform. They connected the retail purchase order system to the CAMS™ sales order system and linked the shipping system to retail receiving. As a result, Nicole Miller gained a fully integrated view of its business. The retail staff was freed from manual re-ticketing, saving a tremendous amount of time and eliminating errors, which allowed them to focus on sales. According to their CFO, the solution from ComputerCare made the company infinitely more productive across the entire business.
