FOD Finance Relies on CTG for the Implementation of a Web Application Security Solution

FOD Finance, the Belgium federal government service responsible for the nation’s finances and taxation, needed a way to better protect government information managed by its web applications. To address security risks early and validate applications against OWASP best practices, it turned to Computer Task Group (CTG) for help, including training for quality controllers, architects, developers, and other users.

Computer Task Group (CTG) implemented the HP Fortify Static Code Analyzer, supported by workshops, installation and configuration planning, and intensive user training. The result was automated daily code analysis fully integrated into the development tool chain, giving developers fast feedback on code security and helping FOD Finance create a smoother, more secure process for future application development, implementation, and maintenance.
