De Persgroep Publishing Relies on CTG to Upgrade and Enhance Its HP-based Monitoring Solution

De Persgroep Publishing, a fully owned subsidiary of De Persgroep, needed to modernize its aging HP-based monitoring environment. The customer wanted to move from HP Operations Manager for Solaris to HP NNMi 9 and HP Operations Manager 9 for Linux, while migrating related tools such as SCOM, Oracle Enterprise Manager, HP Service Manager, and HP UCMDB without any service interruption.

Computer Task Group (CTG) delivered a comprehensive architecture and implementation plan, guided the migration step by step, and trained DPP staff during deployment. The result was a new Linux-based monitoring platform that cut hardware and support costs, supported future integration of new capabilities, and positioned De Persgroep Publishing to evolve from infrastructure monitoring toward business service management.
