CTG Partners with Emeritus Senior Living to Plan for an Integrated Business Information System

Emeritus Senior Living, the largest assisted living facility provider in the U.S., faced a growing need to improve information sharing, care coordination, and business visibility across a highly fragmented senior living environment. To address this, Emeritus partnered with Computer Task Group (CTG) for IT strategic planning and support in selecting an enterprise-wide system, including help establishing an internal PMO to guide the initiative.

CTG used its structured advisory methodology and healthcare/EHR expertise to assess the market, build internal consensus, and align clinical, business, and IT priorities. The work helped Emeritus confirm the limitations of existing senior living EHR options, identify opportunities to leverage acute-care EHR capabilities, and strengthen project governance for EHR selection and other IT projects, supporting its goal of an integrated care model across more than 1,100 communities.
