CedarStone Bank, operating in a competitive market, wanted to streamline its operations and enhance customer service by going completely "ticketless" for its retail and deposit operations. Despite using a previous teller capture system, the bank still had to manage as many as 12 different paper tickets. To solve this challenge, the bank partnered with vendor Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) and implemented its Teller Capture solution.
The solution from Computer Services, Inc. included a signature pad for creating virtual tickets and an electronic journal. This allowed tellers to process transactions in real time at the point of customer interaction. As a result, CedarStone Bank virtually eliminated all ticketing and storage costs, significantly reduced overtime expenses by allowing staff to leave shortly after closing, and was able to post transactions up until its official business hours ended, greatly improving customer service.
