First Bethany Bank & Trust faced a challenge when its long-time print and mail vendor suddenly closed shop in 2009, creating a void in a critical service its customers relied on. The bank needed a new vendor that could not only provide rapid, local service for producing and delivering statements but also offer more, Inc. (CSI) expanded its existing relationship with the bank to provide its Print & Mail solution and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) service. The solution drastically improved the quality of the bank's image statements and introduced electronic options. As a result, First Bethany saved over $13,000 in paper and postage, nearly doubled its asset size without increasing staff, and used RDC to retain valuable customers located outside its geographic area.
