Manufacturers' sales reps, Hoffman & Hoffman, goes digital to give customers more product information, faster

Hoffman & Hoffman, a North Carolina-based manufacturer’s sales rep company, needed a faster way to produce product catalogs for its customers. The Controls Components Division had been using a spreadsheet application, which was too labor-intensive to support frequent updates or combine multiple manufacturer lines into one catalog.

The company adopted Computer Pundits Corporation’s Catalog Builder® software to create monthly and mini catalogs in-house. With the system, Hoffman & Hoffman could maintain one database, add paper catalogs as well as CD-ROM, PDF, email, and eCommerce formats, and update information more quickly; it also reduced the need for outsourced catalog production that had cost one division thousands of dollars annually.
