The Computer Merchant (TCM) worked with World’s Largest Hotel Company, a global hospitality leader with properties in more than 100 countries, to replace its 20-year-old mainframe-based reservation system. The company needed to support growth, stay competitive, and deliver a higher-quality online booking experience without interrupting business or the guest experience.

The Computer Merchant staffed multiple project teams with 285–300 IT consultants, including Java/J2EE, SOA, Oracle, QA, and migration specialists, to help design, develop, and implement a Java and SOA-based reservation platform. The project was completed successfully, earned CIO-level commendations, and now supports 8 million room-availability requests per day, significantly improving the guest experience.
