Computacenter steers camelot to Leading-edge configuration management

Camelot, the operator of the UK's National Lottery, was operating an outdated Altiris configuration management system and sought a partner to migrate to a modern solution. Their objectives were to gain greater visibility of their desktop environment and streamline licence procurement. Computacenter was selected to manage this migration to Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

Computacenter successfully executed the migration to SCCM in under three months, also providing 1,500 licences and consultancy services. The new, highly automated system provided Camelot with much greater visibility of its desktop estate and a more agile, up-to-date tool that improved the end-user experience.
