Case Study: GASAG achieves agile hybrid working with Computacenter

Computacenter lays the foundation for hybrid working in the new building at the EUREF Campus

GASAG, a Berlin energy company and one of the largest regional energy suppliers, moved into a new headquarters on the EUREF campus and needed a modern, digital workplace to support agile, hybrid work. It wanted flexible multi-space rooms, desktop sharing, and a reliable network foundation for collaboration tools such as Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. Computacenter was brought in to create the concept for the network and collaboration solutions.

Computacenter designed and implemented the new workplace technology, including Cisco-based network infrastructure, Cisco DNA and ISE security, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and the setup, delivery, and support of media equipment across workstations, meeting rooms, and shared spaces. The result was a highly dynamic environment for around 720 employees across 12,000 square metres, with improved flexibility, productivity, and collaboration. GASAG said the project was completed on schedule, worked smoothly, and was so successful that Computacenter was also chosen for the subsidiary NBB and will operate GASAG’s LAN and WLAN going forward.
