HUK-COBURG, Germany's largest car insurer, was exploring cloud computing and needed an objective, multi-vendor partner to conduct a thorough cloud maturity assessment. They partnered with vendor Computacenter to perform this analysis.

Computacenter implemented a multi-level Cloud Maturity Assessment, conducting interviews to evaluate all areas of IT and provide recommendations. The solution provided HUK-COBURG with a prioritized SWOT/GAP analysis and an evaluation of relevant cloud providers. As a result, cloud became an accepted operating model for the company, with initial public cloud use cases being implemented. The business impact included a clear, prioritized list of actions for cloud adoption.
