A Compulink Case Study
Pathways Counseling Center is a nonprofit in Alameda County that provides education and mental health services to at‑risk girls, staffed by 10 clinicians and a rotating group of graduate interns. The center struggled with time‑consuming manual reporting and paper ledgers required by grantors and MediCal, inefficient billing practices, and the administrative burden of onboarding new interns.
They implemented Compulink’s Psych Advantage™, a customizable EHR and practice management system with flexible demographics, reporting, and e‑billing. The system’s customizable screens and training options made it easy for interns to learn and for supervisors to monitor billing; electronic claims sped reimbursements and reduced missed charges. As a result, Pathways recovered lost revenue, produced funder and MediCal reports in minutes instead of days, and significantly cut administrative time.
