A Compugen Case Study
Northland School Division No. 61, serving students across northern Alberta, was experiencing significant network problems that hindered videoconferencing, VoIP telephony, and other critical communications tools. An assessment by Compugen revealed an outdated and overburdened infrastructure with configuration issues that the small internal IT team lacked the resources to address.
Compugen modernized the school division's network core with new Cisco technology to support a converged voice, video, and data environment. The solution included deploying IP phones in every classroom and implementing wireless coverage throughout the schools. As a result, Compugen provided a dramatically more stable and efficient network, improving communications and collaboration and enabling greater student engagement and learning through enhanced access to applications and data.
