Managed services solution helps REACH Edmonton focus on community safety
REACH Edmonton Council for Safe Communities needed to move away from city-run IT services and build its own independent technology environment from scratch. To support its community safety mission, the organization turned to Compugen for help designing and implementing the full IT foundation it needed, including servers, laptops, networking, Internet access, telephony, and voice services.
Compugen built and deployed a complete infrastructure based on a Windows Small Business Server 2010 platform and Cisco networking, then provided ongoing managed services for monitoring, support, and maintenance. The result was a secure, fully operational IT environment supported proactively and remotely, with onsite dispatch when needed, all at a significantly lower cost than hiring a full-time IT professional.
