Their stockrooms were filled with old equipment, and the internal process for data wiping, recycling, and donation was time-consuming for their IT staff. They turned to Compugen and its Green4Good program for a solution.

Compugen implemented its Green4Good IT asset disposition service, which involved picking up the equipment, performing secure data wiping, and then recycling or reselling assets. The net proceeds from resale were returned to First West. This solution made the disposition process significantly more efficient, offset its costs, and generated revenue that was donated to the First West Foundation to support community projects.
