Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), a family of seven hospitals, a cancer center, and an urgent care center serving 2.3 million residents in Ontario, needed a better IT model to address network management issues, budget pressure, and future growth. The result was reduced costs, less downtime, higher uptime, improved performance, reduced capital investment, and stronger IT services that helped HHS launch HITS and expand healthcare IT support across the region.
