Fictiv, a technology and manufacturing company, needed to modernize its employee perks program after rapidly shifting to a distributed workforce during COVID-19. Its existing offerings, such as in-office lunch and other standard benefits, no longer fit remote employees’ day-to-day needs for meals, internet, cell phone support, learning, and team connection.
To address this, Fictiv turned to Compt and used its stipend-based perks platform to launch customizable benefits including cell phone, internet, virtual work, continuous learning, and team-building stipends. The new program covered 13 spending categories and led to strong results, including a 717% to ~89% increase in 100% team engagement in 2020, over 65% stipend utilization for continuous learning, and 72% headcount growth in Fictiv’s first year with Compt.
