The Government of South Australia faced the challenge of introducing new legislation to license drivers of ultra-high-powered vehicles (UHPV). They needed to create a course that was engaging and relevant for an affluent, experienced demographic while being sensitive in its tone to promote safety attitudes. The department partnered with Compono to develop this mandatory licensing program.

Compono developed an online U class licence course and testing platform that used 3D videos, interactive scenarios, and accessible design to present core safety concepts. The solution allowed users to complete the process remotely on any device. As a result, Compono's platform achieved a 97% completion rate and 77% user satisfaction, with over 3600 enrolments and a LearnX award for Best Health and Safety Training.
