Compass Group North America faced the daunting task of feeding 40,000 Scouts and leaders across the 14,000‑acre World Scout Jamboree, with hundreds of dispersed coolers and freezers that required frequent manual temperature checks. To simplify food‑safety oversight and reduce labor, Compass Group deployed the ComplianceMate system—LoRa‑based wireless temperature sensors, cloud gateways and a dashboard for continuous monitoring and alerts.

ComplianceMate’s sensors transmitted real‑time temperatures to a central dashboard and sent automated alerts, letting Compass Group monitor equipment from a phone, identify which units were ready for use, and triage cooler failures with a two‑person facilities crew. The solution covered the entire site with just a handful of gateways, reduced manual logging and staff time, improved accuracy and response times, and helped Compass Group save labor and avoid wasted inventory while maintaining food‑safety standards.
