Shema Power Lake Kivu (SPLK), an independent power producer in Rwanda, needed tight control of project spend and cash forecasting during a complex construction phase but wanted to avoid the cost and delay of implementing a full ERP. To solve this, SPLK engaged Compleat Software to deliver an out‑of‑the‑box purchase‑to‑pay/AP automation solution (including purchase ordering, invoice matching, reporting and Xero integration).

Compleat Software implemented purchase ordering as the cornerstone of the solution, automated accounts payable workflows and provided reporting and Xero connectivity, giving SPLK real‑time visibility of all spend against POs. The result was significantly improved visibility across two locations and six users, faster processing and time savings, better cash flow planning, ensured compliance (all spend routed through Compleat) and avoidance of a high‑cost ERP implementation.
