A Competitive Capabilities International Case Study
Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL), a global explosives and chemicals manufacturer, faced challenges with high costs and suboptimal productivity following an acquisition. The IPL Executive Team wanted to leverage the mature Lean culture from the newly acquired Dyno Nobel business across its entire global operations. To address this, they partnered with Competitive Capabilities International to implement the TRACC solution.
Competitive Capabilities International worked with IPL to implement a holistic business improvement program focused on workforce empowerment, leadership coaching, and best practice standardization. The TRACC-powered BEx program delivered remarkable results over five years, including over AU$570 million in EBIT gross benefits, a 35% reduction in safety injuries, and an 85% reduction in injury severity, creating a system for long-term sustainability.
