F.ua, a Ukrainian online retailer with a $50M annual turnover and one of the country’s top sites, struggled with slow and imperfect internal competitor monitoring that forced category managers to manually cross-check prices and spend large portions of their day on repricing. To address this, F.ua tested Competera’s Price Intelligence Suite (Competera Suite) to improve price accuracy, timeliness, and overall category manager efficiency.
Competera integrated its Price Intelligence Suite to centralize competitor data, deliver price-adjustment recommendations and automate repricing. In a month-long test on electric kettles (Dec 2016 vs Dec 2015) repricing time dropped from 30 minutes to 5–7 minutes per category, saving about 20 hours per manager per month (≈4,800 hours/year for a 20-person team). The kettles group’s quantity share rose +6.8%, financial share +2.4%, marginal-revenue share +1.3%, and traffic from price aggregators increased by 43.29%, driving higher turnover and improved KPIs.
