ROLAND Versicherung, an international legal protection insurance provider, needed a new document output management system to handle the complex task of processing and directing approximately 3.5 million documents annually. Their challenge was to automatically combine, manage, and output different document types—including policies, correspondence, and statements—to the correct channel, whether print, email, fax, or archive, without errors or mix-ups. They engaged vendor Compart to implement its DocBridge Pilot software to solve this.

The Compart solution centralized all document processing, using DocBridge Pilot to automatically retrieve documents, convert them into required formats like AFP and PDF, and correctly route them for output. This allowed the bundling of mailings for the same recipient and optimization of postal costs. The implementation was completed on a tight, three-month schedule for a successful go-live. According to the customer, Compart met all of their specific requirements quickly and professionally, with subsequent upgrades also delivered on time and on budget.
