Japs-Olson Company, a long-established direct mail and commercial printing firm, needed a better way to proof and approve highly variable mail projects while simplifying production information and improving uptime. As personalized direct mail became more complex, it was increasingly difficult to track changes between file versions and individual pieces, so the company turned to Compart and its DocBridge engine for help.

Compart implemented DocBridge Delta along with four custom applications built on the Compart SDK to fit Japs-Olson’s workflow. The solution added color-coded highlighting, Hot Spots, Pixel Compare, and IJPDS Line Segments, which improved quality control, sped up reviews, reduced manual QC work, and helped production teams place print heads more accurately. Japs-Olson said the tools eliminated hours of effort, increased reliability, and reduced QC overhead on every job.
