Rödl & Partner GmbH, an interdisciplinary audit, accounting, tax, and business consulting firm, needed a more cost-effective and sustainable way to handle Microsoft license reconciliation and broader international licensing consolidation. In response to this challenge, COMPAREX introduced its SAM2GO managed service to support the company’s software asset management needs.
COMPAREX implemented SAM2GO by first performing a license reconciliation and then setting up ongoing quarterly administration, with the option to add further vendors over time. The result was a low-cost solution with no hardware, tool, or maintenance investments, reduced internal staffing and training effort, and improved audit readiness. COMPAREX also provided investment protection through XML-based database conversion if the service is terminated.
