Frutarom Etol d.d., part of a rapidly growing global flavors and fragrances group, wanted to improve its Software Asset Management (SAM) maturity and better leverage its Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. After a successful SAM baseline and assessment, the company engaged COMPAREX for a SAM deployment project focused on software and hardware inventory, compliance, and control, using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in a proof of concept.

COMPAREX delivered a SAM deployment planning report that included the POC, an improvement plan, and recommendations for reaching the desired future maturity state. The result was greater transparency into licensed, deployed, and used software, helping Frutarom Etol d.d. avoid over-purchasing, reduce compliance risks and potential fines, and achieve cost savings through better software redistribution and reutilization.
