Deutsche BKK, a public service organization in Stuttgart, worked with COMPAREX to improve software license compliance. The customer needed to update its licensing situation to meet the requirements of Microsoft, Adobe, and Citrix, and to assess additional vendors as part of the review. The project used COMPAREX SAM2GO as the software asset management service.

COMPAREX helped Deutsche BKK establish a license compliance balance and then set up a quarterly Software Asset Management review to monitor over- and under-licensing. The ongoing process keeps the compliance status updated, supports legal compliance, increases transparency, and helps reduce costs and protect future investment decisions through better licensing insight. The review also included an analysis of SAM processes and organization in line with ISO/IEC 19770-1 standards.
