Case Study: Licking School District achieves malware containment and streamlined endpoint management with Comodo Cybersecurity's Endpoint Security Manager

A Comodo Cybersecurity Case Study

Preview of the Licking School District Case Study

Multi-school district relies on Comodo’s security technology to contain and defeat unwanted malware

Licking School District, a K–12 district in Licking, Missouri with over 900 students and an IT team of two responsible for more than 500 computers, faced heavy exposure to malware and spyware from student browsing and USB use and needed a cost‑effective, easy‑to‑manage security solution ahead of a planned rollout of roughly 800 student devices. The district turned to Comodo Cybersecurity and deployed Comodo Endpoint Security Manager (ESM) to provide centralized, real‑time protection and simplified endpoint management.

Comodo Cybersecurity implemented ESM’s seven‑layer defense with patent‑pending automatic containment, centralized management, reporting and remote support tools, optimized for older hardware. The deployment eliminated infections that the previous product missed, reduced the need to take machines offline for decontamination, increased availability of computers for students, and improved staff productivity—Licking has run Comodo ESM for over a year with noticeably reduced IT security risk and smoother endpoint operations.
