Case Study: Rahr Malting Company achieves zero infections and centralized endpoint protection with Comodo Cybersecurity's Advanced Endpoint Protection

A Comodo Cybersecurity Case Study

Preview of the Rahr Malting Company Case Study

Global Organization Relies on Comodo’s Advanced Endpoint Protection Technology to Protect and Secure Its Information

Rahr Malting Company, a global malt producer headquartered in Shakopee, Minnesota, was struggling with hundreds of endpoints across multiple sites and frequent infections (including Cryptolocker), averaging three to five major security incidents per week. To gain centralized manageability and protection against known and unknown threats, Rahr evaluated several vendors and selected Comodo Cybersecurity’s Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) for its Default Deny approach and single-console management.

Comodo Cybersecurity implemented Comodo AEP—including automated containerization, the STAP/Valkyrie analysis engine, and the IT and Security Manager dashboard—consolidating antivirus, firewall, HIPS, URL filtering and device management. Since deploying Comodo AEP in December 2015, Rahr reports zero infections (down from multiple weekly incidents), faster remediation via the central dashboard, and a lightweight endpoint footprint (as little as 10 MB), delivering measurable improvement in security and operational efficiency.
