Case Study: BOA GmbH achieves virus-free operations and reduced downtime with Comodo Cybersecurity's Endpoint Security Manager

A Comodo Cybersecurity Case Study

Preview of the BOA GmbH Case Study

BOA GmbH - Customer Case Study

BOA GmbH, a family-run systems supplier in Upper Swabia, Germany, needed a new virus-protection solution after its previous TrendMicro deployment repeatedly triggered harmful-software alerts from the ISP and even led to blocked Internet access. After evaluating multiple vendors, BOA selected Comodo Cybersecurity’s Endpoint Security Manager (ESM, also referenced as CESM) for its restrictive, license-friendly model and its isolation-based approach to handling unknown threats.

Comodo Cybersecurity implemented ESM during live operations, quarantining unfamiliar programs and using its Default Deny/Auto-Sandbox containment to analyze suspicious files without disrupting work. The deployment stopped the recurring ISP alerts, ran smoothly with minimal downtime, and delivered Comodo’s 100% protection warranty—resulting in reduced administrative workload, increased user productivity, strengthened network security, and a decision by BOA to migrate customer installations to Comodo.
