Rapid data growth across distributed datacenters and endpoints created a need to consolidate backups, speed restoration, minimize data loss, and integrate with public clouds like AWS and Microsoft Azure to meet tighter RPO/RTO and disaster-recovery requirements.

UST implemented Commvault Backup & Recovery (including cloud and infrastructure management and retention/compliance) to centralize protection, enable VM replication for warm DR, and extend endpoint protection in the cloud.
