Nashville Wire boosts efficiency and scalability to support digital transformation

Nashville Wire, a family‑owned manufacturer with 900 employees across 15 locations, is digitizing its production and migrating from VMware to Nutanix Acropolis. The IT team needed a modern, scalable and reliable data‑protection solution to handle growing data volumes, mixed legacy and new systems, and centralized backup management across multiple sites.

The company deployed Commvault HyperScale Appliance with Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery and Commvault Command Center to protect about 20 TB of data across 60 servers and distributed sites, completing full backups in under 12 hours. Centralized management, incremental policies and 4:1 deduplication cut storage needs and costs (using only half of a 47 TB appliance for a year’s backups), while boosting agility and supporting Nashville Wire’s digital transformation.
