Mohamed Yousuf Naghi & Brothers Group supports hybrid-cloud strategy with Commvault

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi & Brothers Group, a diversified Saudi business operating across automotive, consumer goods, transportation and logistics, faced slow, complex backups and poor data availability from multiple backup tools, operating systems and cloud platforms. The fragmented environment made it difficult to meet RPO/RTO targets for critical systems (including financial Oracle ERP) and to replicate or restore workloads quickly across Azure, AWS and on‑premises sites.

The group consolidated onto Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery, integrating with Azure Blob and Amazon S3, and built an isolated warm disaster‑recovery zone to enable fast cloud and cloud‑to‑cloud VM replication and restores. Results included 60% faster RMAN backups, up to 75% quicker full snapshots, deduplication-driven data reductions of up to 82% (e.g., 200 TB → 36 TB; 80 TB → 26.5 TB), significant storage cost savings and improved business continuity with rapid recovery capabilities.
