R Cable y Telecomunicaciones Galicia (R) is a Galician ISP and data‑center provider offering hosting, cloud and telecom services to businesses across the region. Faced with rapidly growing customer data and the need to deliver multi‑tenant backup and disaster‑recovery services with flexible, customer‑specific SLAs, R sought a modern, scalable solution to simplify management and ensure continuity.

Working with integrator Acuntia, R deployed Commvault’s data‑management platform—adding a unified console, multi‑tenancy, IntelliSnap and VM lifecycle management—to optimize storage and improve RTO/RPO. The result: backups that once took ~40 hours now run in under 8, reduced backup/recovery requirements, faster service launches, and the ability to offer competitive BaaS/DRaaS to hundreds of customers managing 300+ TB of critical data.
