TIREA is a Spanish insurance-sector IT service provider (founded 1997 and backed by a large share of national insurers) that runs secure, multi-tenant infrastructure for industry clients. As its estate grew and virtualisation became dominant, TIREA’s legacy backup product could not scale or provide unified management, platform coverage and the security controls needed to guarantee timely access and integrity of sensitive customer data.

TIREA migrated to the Commvault data management platform, gaining a single, centralised console with dedicated agents for physical and virtual systems and features such as source deduplication, encryption, distributed indexing, compression and retention policies. The change delivered faster, simpler daily backup and recovery operations, easier agent deployment, multi‑site centralised management, improved scalability and security, and a significant reduction in TCO while preserving uninterrupted service for customers.
