A leading U.S.-based Supply Chain Management Firm needed to better protect its Azure workloads, including virtual machines and SQL/Oracle databases, while maintaining business continuity across zonal and regional failures. Working with Commvault and Commvault Cloud SaaS, the customer also wanted stronger cyber resiliency without adding operational complexity or driving up costs.

Commvault implemented a unified protection architecture using Commvault Cloud SaaS, Azure Blob BYOS storage, Commvault Air Gap Protect, and the Cyber Resiliency bundle with Threatwise. The result was protection for 11,000 VMs and 1,200 TB of database data, failover coverage across nine geographic regions, and more than $400,000 in annual savings, all through a single trusted platform managed across on-premises and Azure environments.
